Two angles of the blade terminate in floral form with a slightly flaring edge. In center of the blade is a complex pattern with a circular medallion, interlaced hexagons, band with cable pattern, circles, interstitial triangles and hook-like projections. On the edge is a band with floriated kufi inscription terminating in a semicircle at each side. Where top of blade is joined to handle, an arabesque scroll contains in foliated kufi the words lillah, i.e. for God. Inscription in Kufic: Happiness and blessing and ... H. 22 7/8 in.
